Uranium

With around 440 nuclear reactors in operation worldwide, and another 96 additional reactors planned or under construction within the next 10 years, it's little wonder the exploration for uranium deposits continues despite the current global economic downturn.

In addition to uranium, WGM has advised clients and conducted exploration, due diligence, technical reviews and development studies on a broad range of commodities including lithium, Rare Earth Elements, and many other products.

Key Projects

Tanzania - Data compilation, airborne data interpretation and technical evaluation of uranium property in Southeast Tanzania.

Sweden - WGM was contracted to carry out an initial visit to the SGS-Lakefield testing laboratory in Lakefield, Ontario, and work with the lab to develop a testing protocol. WGM supervised the overall testing program to determine the extractability of uranium from the organic rich alum shales.

Agnew Lake Uranium Project, Canada - WGM was asked to carry out an initial site visit, review the technical data, collect check samples from drill core, assess the merits of the project pursuant to a NI 43-101 report.

Lijagou Spodumene (Lithium) Deposit, China - WGM was contracted to carry out a NI 43-101 compliant review and valuation of the property.

Uranium City Resources, Saskatchewan - WGM was contracted to carry out a Mineral Resource Estimate and NI 43-101 technical report for the new uranium zone discovered on UCR’s Beaver Lodge Property near the past-producing Bolger deposit.

Uranium, Ontario - WGM was contracted to compile data and carry out a technical review of all historical data pertaining to the a past producing uranium mine to determine if a NI 43-101 report was justified.
